Branding and Art Direction for The Blake Hotel, a boutique hotel located in the heart of New Haven.

Taking typographic inspiration from iconic New York Hotel’s such as the Carlyle and graphic inspiration from New Haven’s art scene, the project intends to show the interplay between a city’s hospitality centers and it’s art.

My role was to lead the design and execution of the project, from concepting to
project completion.

Le Petit Grain // Paris

Paris bakery Le Petit Grain, values quality, low waste and organic ingredients and practices. Branding identity is a literal interpretation of these values. Patterns are made by hand-painting pieces of bread and creating stamped marks. The logo uses an old alchemy symbol for change to emphasize the craft and science that is intrinsic to baking bread.

My role was to the lead the design and execution of the project, from concepting to project completion.

Café Panache brand identity inspired by it’s neighborhood’s Art Nouveau heritage and the Chef’s contemporary take on traditional brasserie food. Comice // Paris

Comice, a fine-dining restaurant in Paris, France from sommelier Etheliya Hananova and chef Noam Gedalof, co-owners of the space.

Visual identity for the concept that reflects its meaning and elegance. The logo and icon are inspired by the original definitions of “une comice,” which is a type of pear as well as a reunion for craftsmen to share ideas, food and skills. The graphics represent the restaurant's classic roots through the typeset and color scheme while offering a bold graphic pattern which originates from its name.
